I love the months of October, November & December! They are full of warmth, fun, nostalgia and delicious foods, and even though you think we would tire of them, I make the same treats for my family year after year.
Tradition and holidays go hand in hand.
Each year as the weather gets cooler, my family enjoys Pumpkin Biscotti made with a sweet glaze. It is delicious dunked in a hot cup of coffee, and I have to double or sometimes triple the recipe because it gets eaten fast!
Another favorite of ours is Tortellini Soup. If I make a big pot of this, I am sure to have a crowd around the stove. Served with a big pan of cornbread and a crisp salad, it’s a meal fit for a king!
A few years ago, in an attempt to be more organized during the busy holiday season, I created some planning pages. I created a page for gifts, one for cards, one for menus and I included some of our favorite recipes. A few weeks before Thanksgiving when a friend saw me writing in it, she said: ” I HAVE to get one of those, where did you get it!?”
I quickly emailed her the PDF and told her, ” I made it, and here is one for you!”
So what exactly is it? Well, it is 34 pages of recipes, ideas, lists, calendars and planning pages that have helped my holiday season run smoother!
I think it will work for you too!
The best part is, you can use it year after year. My favorite way is to print out all of the pages, make holes with a three-hole punch and place it in a binder. I just print out the extra planning pages that I need every season.
I want to give you one too!
